Article L2573-37 of the French General Code of Local Authorities

I. – The articles L. 2253-1 to L. 2253-7 are applicable to the communes of French Polynesia from the renewal of the municipal councils in 2008 and subject to the adaptations provided for in II and III.

II. – For the application of article L. 2253-2, after the words: “L. 1521-1 and L. 1522-1” are added the words: “as well as by article L. 1862-2 and by article 2 of law n° 46-860 of 30 April 1946 tending to the establishment, financing and execution of equipment and development plans for the territories under the responsibility of the Ministry of Overseas France”.

III. – For the application of article L. 2253-7, the words: “governed by the provisions of Book II of the Commercial Code and” are deleted.

I. – Les articles L. 2253-1 à L. 2253-7 sont applicables aux communes de la Polynésie française à compter du renouvellement des conseils municipaux en 2008 et sous réserve des adaptations prévues aux II et III.

II. – Pour l’application de l’article L. 2253-2, après les mots : ” L. 1521-1 et L. 1522-1 ” sont ajoutés les mots : ” ainsi que par l’article L. 1862-2 et par l’article 2 de la loi n° 46-860 du 30 avril 1946 tendant à l’établissement, au financement et à l’exécution de plans d’équipement et de développement des territoires relevant du ministère de la France d’outre-mer “.

III. – Pour l’application de l’article L. 2253-7, les mots : ” régie par les dispositions du livre II du code de commerce et ” sont supprimés.
