Article L3213-1 of the French General Code of Local Authorities

The departmental council decides on the following matters:

1° Acquisition, disposal and exchange of movable or immovable departmental properties;

2° Method of management of departmental properties;

3° Leases of property given or taken on a farm or rental basis, whatever the duration;

4° Change of use of departmental properties and buildings;

5° Insurance of departmental buildings.

2° Mode de gestion des propriétés départementales ;

3° Baux de biens donnés ou pris à ferme ou à loyer, quelle qu’en soit la durée ;

4° Changement de destination des propriétés et des édifices départementaux ;

5° Assurances des bâtiments départementaux.
