Article L322-7-1 of the French Code of civil enforcement procedures

Any person sentenced to one of the additional penalties provided for in 2° of I of article 225-26 of the French Criminal Code, in 3° of IV and in the second paragraph of V of article L. 1337-4 of the Public Health Code, 3° of article L. 184-7 and in the second paragraph of article L. 184-8 of the French Construction and Housing Code, in 3° of III and the second paragraph of IV of article L. 511-6 and 3° of II and the third paragraph of III of article L. 521-4 of the same code may not bid for the duration of this sentence for the acquisition of a property for residential use or a business of an establishment open to the public used wholly or partly for accommodation, except in the case of an acquisition for personal occupation.

Article L322-7-1

La personne condamnée à l’une des peines complémentaires prévues au 2° du I de l’article 225-26 du code pénal, au 3° du IV et au deuxième alinéa du V de l’article L. 1337-4 du code de la santé publique, au 3° de l’article L. 184-7 et au deuxième alinéa de l’article L. 184-8 du code de la construction et de l’habitation, au 3° du III et au deuxième alinéa du IV de l’article L. 511-6 et au 3° du II et au troisième alinéa du III de l’article L. 521-4 du même code ne peut se porter enchérisseur pendant la durée de cette peine pour l’acquisition d’un bien immobilier à usage d’habitation ou d’un fonds de commerce d’un établissement recevant du public à usage total ou partiel d’hébergement, sauf dans le cas d’une acquisition pour une occupation à titre personnel.
