The cost of prevention resulting from this book, the cost of treatment resulting from the application of articles L. 3414-1 and L. 3423-1 to L. 3425-2, and the cost of fitting out specialised centres are borne by the State, with the exception of the medico-social costs of the addiction treatment, support and prevention centres referred to in article L. 314-8 of the Social Action and Family Code.
However, when the treatment is carried out with accommodation in a health establishment, the costs relating to the treatment are covered by the health insurance schemes, without application of the provisions of the Social Security Code and the Rural and Maritime Fishing Code relating to entitlement to the benefits covered by the basic schemes, reimbursement of the portion guaranteed by the health insurance scheme, the insured person’s contribution to the tariffs used as a basis for reimbursement and the lump sum referred to in article L. 174-4 of the Social Security Code.
A decree by the Conseil d’Etat sets out the conditions for applying the provisions of the two previous paragraphs.
