Les départements des Hauts-de-Seine, de la Seine-Saint-Denis et du Val-de-Marne participent, au prorata de leur population, au financement de la brigade des sapeurs-pompiers de Paris, à hauteur de 45 % s’agissant des dépenses de fonctionnement, et de 37,5 % s’agissant des dépenses d’investissement afférentes au casernement.
