Article L343-7 of the French Code governing the entry and residence of foreign nationals and the right of asylum

Provided they do not violate the dignity of persons and the requirements of security and the smooth running of the waiting area, journalists holding the professional identity card mentioned in article L. 7111-6 du code du travail may be authorised to access waiting areas.
The taking of images and sound of foreign nationals, staff and people working in waiting areas, as well as their distribution, are only authorised with their prior agreement. The anonymity of the names and bodies of minors and, unless expressly agreed otherwise, adults, will be respected.

Sous réserve de ne pas porter atteinte à la dignité des personnes et aux exigences de sécurité et de bon fonctionnement de la zone d’attente, les journalistes titulaires de la carte d’identité professionnelle mentionnée à l’article L. 7111-6 du code du travail peuvent être autorisés à accéder aux zones d’attente.
Les prises d’images et de son des étrangers, des personnels et des intervenants dans les zones d’attente, de même que leur diffusion, ne sont autorisées qu’avec leur accord préalable. Elles se déroulent dans le respect de l’anonymat patronymique et physique des mineurs et, sauf accord contraire exprès, des majeurs.
