Article L420-18 of the French Monetary and Financial Code

The operator of a trading platform shall notify the AMF of the list of Member States of the European Union or parties to the Agreement on the European Economic Area in which it intends to provide means of access to the trading platform it operates.

The Autorité des marchés financiers shall communicate this information to the competent authority of the State concerned in accordance with the conditions laid down by decree.

At the request of the competent authority referred to in the previous paragraph, the AMF shall inform it as soon as possible of the identity of the members established in that State.

Article L420-18

Le gestionnaire d’une plate-forme de négociation communique à l’Autorité des marchés financiers la liste des Etats membres de l’Union européenne ou parties à l’accord sur l’Espace économique européen dans lesquels il compte fournir des moyens d’accès à la plate-forme de négociation qu’il gère.

L’Autorité des marchés financiers communique cette information à l’autorité compétente de l’Etat concerné dans des conditions fixées par décret.

A la demande de l’autorité compétente mentionnée à l’alinéa précédent, l’Autorité des marchés financiers lui communique dans les meilleurs délais l’identité des membres établis dans cet Etat.
