Article L422-12 of the French Code governing the entry and residence of foreign nationals and the right of asylum

When the temporary residence permit bearing the wording “seeking employment or setting up a business” is issued pursuant to 2° of article L. 422-10, the interested party providing proof of the creation and viability of a business meeting the condition set out in the same 2° shall be issued, at the end of the one-year period, with the temporary residence permit bearing the wording “entrepreneur/liberal profession” provided for in Article L. 421-5 or the multi-annual residence permit bearing the wording “talent passport” provided for in Article L. 421-16.

Article L422-12

Lorsque la carte de séjour temporaire portant la mention ” recherche d’emploi ou création d’entreprise ” est délivrée en application du 2° de l’article L. 422-10, l’intéressé justifiant de la création et du caractère viable d’une entreprise répondant à la condition énoncée au même 2° se voit délivrer, à l’issue de la période d’un an, la carte de séjour temporaire portant la mention ” entrepreneur/ profession libérale ” prévue à l’article L. 421-5 ou la carte de séjour pluriannuelle portant la mention ” passeport talent ” prévue à l’article L. 421-16.
