Article L4252-1 of the French Public Health Code

Unlawfully practises the profession of medical physicist:

Any person who practises medical physics, within the meaning of article L. 4251-1, without holding a qualification diploma in radiological and medical physics or a diploma in medical physics or any other qualification mentioned in article L. 4251-5 required to practise the profession of medical physicist or without being covered by article L. 4364-6.

The present article does not apply to medical physics students who are doing an internship as part of their training.

Exerce illégalement la profession de physicien médical :


Toute personne qui pratique la physique médicale, au sens de l’article L. 4251-1, sans être titulaire du diplôme de qualification en physique radiologique et médicale ou du diplôme de physicien médical ou de tout autre titre mentionné à l’article L. 4251-5 exigé pour l’exercice de la profession de physicien médical ou sans relever de l’article L. 4364-6.


Le présent article ne s’applique pas aux étudiants en physique médicale qui effectuent un stage dans le cadre de leur formation.
