Article L431-3 of the French Code of civil enforcement procedures

If the eviction relates to a place inhabited by the person being evicted or by any occupant on his or her behalf, the court commissioner responsible for the eviction will send a copy of the eviction notice served on or given to the person being evicted to the representative of the State in the département and to the commission for the coordination of actions to prevent rental evictions provided for in article 7-2 of law no. 90-449 of 31 May 1990 aimed at implementing the right to housing.

This information is transmitted via the information system provided for in the last paragraph of the same article 7-2.

Article L431-3

Si l’expulsion porte sur un lieu habité par la personne expulsée ou par tout occupant de son chef, le commissaire de justice chargé de l’expulsion transmet une copie du procès-verbal d’expulsion signifié ou remis à la personne expulsée au représentant de l’Etat dans le département ainsi qu’à la commission de coordination des actions de prévention des expulsions locatives prévue à l’article 7-2 de la loi n° 90-449 du 31 mai 1990 visant à la mise en œuvre du droit au logement.

Cette transmission s’effectue par l’intermédiaire du système d’information prévu au dernier alinéa du même article 7-2.
