Article L4311-4 of the French Labour Code

By way of derogation from the provisions of article L. 4311-3, new work equipment or means of protection which do not comply with the provisions of article L. 4311-1 may be exhibited and imported for display at authorised trade fairs and shows for a specific period.

In this case, a warning, the characteristics of which are determined by joint order of the Minister for Labour and the Minister for Agriculture, is placed near the work equipment or means of protection being exhibited, throughout the duration of the exhibition.

Article L4311-4

Par dérogation aux dispositions de l’article L. 4311-3, sont permises, pour une durée déterminée, l’exposition et l’importation aux fins d’exposition dans les foires et salons autorisés d’équipements de travail ou de moyens de protection neufs ne satisfaisant pas aux dispositions de l’article L. 4311-1.

Dans ce cas, un avertissement dont les caractéristiques sont déterminées par arrêté conjoint du ministre chargé du travail et du ministre chargé de l’agriculture est placé à proximité de l’équipement de travail ou du moyen de protection faisant l’objet de l’exposition, pendant toute la durée de celle-ci.
