Before entering the profession, persons who have obtained the evidence of formal qualifications or authorisation required to practise as a hearing aid acoustician must register with the department or body designated for this purpose by the Minister responsible for health.
The registration of these persons is carried out after verification of the supporting documents attesting to their identity and their training qualification or authorisation. They must inform the same department or body of any change of residence or professional situation.
The registration procedure is free of charge.
A list of this profession is drawn up for each département by the regional health agency or the body designated for this purpose, and made available to the public.
Persons holding a diploma, certificate or other evidence of formal qualifications referred to in articles L. 4361-3 and L. 4361-4 registered in accordance with the first paragraph may practise the profession of hearing aid acoustician.
Detailed rules for the application of this article shall be laid down by decree.
