Article L4413-3 of the French General Code of Local Authorities

The Ile-de-France region defines regional travel policy, in compliance with the guidelines of the master plan for the Ile-de-France region provided for by Article L. 123-1 of the town planning code and the mobility plan provided for in Article 28-3 of Law no. 82-1153 of 30 December 1982 on the orientation of domestic transport.

To this end, the Ile-de-France region shall draw up, in association with the State and Ile-de-France Mobilités, a regional transport infrastructure planning document satisfying the conditions set out in article L. 1213-1 of the Transport Code.

The region may also participate in financing safety improvements on unconcessioned motorways and roads in the Ile-de-France region.

Article L4413-3

La région d’Ile-de-France définit la politique régionale des déplacements, dans le respect des orientations du schéma directeur de la région d’Ile-de-France prévu par l’article L. 123-1 du code de l’urbanisme et du plan de mobilité prévu à l’article 28-3 de la loi n° 82-1153 du 30 décembre 1982 d’orientation des transports intérieurs.

La région d’Ile-de-France arrête à cet effet, en association avec l’Etat et Ile-de-France Mobilités, un document de planification régionale des infrastructures de transport satisfaisant aux conditions prévues par l’article L. 1213-1 du code des transports.

La région peut en outre participer au financement d’aménagements de sécurité sur les autoroutes non concédées et les routes d’Ile-de-France.
