Article L4434-5 of the French General Code of Local Authorities

The State allocates annually to each of the regions concerned a global allocation for cultural development which is set by the Finance Act under the conditions set out in articles L. 1614-1 and L. 1614-3.

This allocation replaces the credits allocated to each of the overseas regions for cultural development, with the exception of those allocated to the départements and communes.

Article L4434-5

L’Etat attribue annuellement à chacune des régions concernées une dotation globale pour le développement culturel qui est fixée par la loi de finances dans les conditions prévues aux articles L. 1614-1 et L. 1614-3.

Cette dotation se substitue aux crédits attribués à chacune des régions d’outre-mer au titre du développement culturel, à l’exception de ceux alloués aux départements et aux communes.
