Article L444-1 A of the French Commercial code

The Chapters Ier, II and III of this Title apply to any agreement between a supplier and a buyer relating to products or services marketed on French territory. These provisions are a matter of public policy. Any dispute relating to their application shall fall within the exclusive jurisdiction of the French courts, subject to compliance with European Union law and international treaties ratified or approved by France and without prejudice to recourse to arbitration.

Les chapitres Ier, II et III du présent titre s’appliquent à toute convention entre un fournisseur et un acheteur portant sur des produits ou des services commercialisés sur le territoire français. Ces dispositions sont d’ordre public. Tout litige portant sur leur application relève de la compétence exclusive des tribunaux français, sous réserve du respect du droit de l’Union européenne et des traités internationaux ratifiés ou approuvés par la France et sans préjudice du recours à l’arbitrage.
