Article L4741-4 of the French Labour Code

In the event of a breach of the provisions of article L. 4221-1, those of Book III as well as articles L. 4411-7, L. 4525-1 and L. 4721-4 and the decrees issued for their application, the judgment shall also set the time limit within which the safety and health work required by these provisions must be carried out. This period may not exceed ten months.

En cas d’infraction aux dispositions de l’article L. 4221-1, de celles du livre III ainsi que des articles L. 4411-7, L. 4525-1 et L. 4721-4 et des décrets pris en application, le jugement fixe, en outre, le délai dans lequel sont exécutés les travaux de sécurité et de salubrité imposés par ces dispositions. Ce délai ne peut excéder dix mois.
