The purpose of employment aid is :

1° To facilitate the continuity of employees’ activity in the face of transformations resulting from economic change and, to this end, to promote their adaptation to new jobs in the event of professional changes due to technical developments or changes in production conditions;

2° To encourage the introduction of preventive measures to prepare employees for professional adaptation to changes in employment and qualifications in companies and professional branches;

3° Promote the qualification and integration of jobseekers;

4° Contribute to professional equality between men and women.

Les aides à l’emploi ont pour objet :

1° De faciliter la continuité de l’activité des salariés face aux transformations consécutives aux mutations économiques et de favoriser, à cette fin, leur adaptation à de nouveaux emplois en cas de changements professionnels dus à l’évolution technique ou à la modification des conditions de la production ;

2° De favoriser la mise en place d’actions de prévention permettant de préparer l’adaptation professionnelle des salariés à l’évolution de l’emploi et des qualifications dans les entreprises et les branches professionnelles ;

3° De favoriser la qualification et l’insertion de demandeurs d’emploi ;

4° De contribuer à l’égalité professionnelle entre les femmes et les hommes.
