Article L5145-3 of the French Public Health Code

In the event of failure to comply with the rules laid down in application of 9° of article L. 5141-16 relating to advertising, the Agency may:

1° Order the suspension or prohibition of advertising ;

2° Order the inclusion in the advertisement of warnings and precautions for use necessary to inform the user or the distribution of a correction;

3° Withdraw authorisation to advertise medicinal products presented as favouring the diagnosis, prevention or treatment of diseases mentioned in article L. 221-1 of the Rural and Maritime Fishing Code.

Article L5145-3

En cas de méconnaissance des règles édictées en application du 9° de l’article L. 5141-16 et relatives à la publicité, l’agence peut :

1° Ordonner la suspension ou l’interdiction d’une publicité ;

2° Ordonner l’insertion dans la publicité de la mention des avertissements et précautions d’emploi nécessaires à l’information de l’utilisateur ou à la diffusion d’un rectificatif ;

3° Retirer l’autorisation de publicité en faveur de médicaments présentés comme favorisant le diagnostic, la prévention ou le traitement de maladies mentionnées à l’article L. 221-1 du code rural et de la pêche maritime.
