Article L518-25-1 of the French Monetary and Financial Code

I. – A credit institution in which La Poste holds a majority stake shall receive Livret A deposits in accordance with the terms and conditions set out in Section 1 of Chapter I of Title II of Book II.

II. – The State and this credit institution shall enter into an agreement specifying the conditions applicable to this institution for the distribution and operation of the Livret A.

III. – La Poste and this same credit institution conclude an agreement, under the conditions provided for in article L. 518-25, which specifies the conditions under which any depositor in possession of a Livret A opened with this institution may make deposits and withdrawals in post offices duly organised for this purpose.

I. – Un établissement de crédit, dont La Poste détient la majorité du capital, reçoit les dépôts du livret A dans les conditions prévues à la section 1 du chapitre Ier du titre II du livre II.

II. – L’Etat et cet établissement de crédit concluent une convention qui précise les conditions applicables à cet établissement pour la distribution et le fonctionnement du livret A.

III. – La Poste et ce même établissement de crédit concluent une convention, dans les conditions prévues à l’article L. 518-25, qui précise les conditions dans lesquelles tout déposant muni d’un livret A ouvert auprès de cet établissement peut effectuer ses versements et opérer ses retraits dans les bureaux de poste dûment organisés à cet effet.
