Article L5221-1 of the French Labour Code

The provisions of this Title shall apply subject to those of treaties, conventions or agreements duly ratified or approved and published, and in particular the Treaties establishing the European Communities and the acts of the authorities of those Communities adopted in implementation of those Treaties.

Les dispositions du présent titre sont applicables, sous réserve de celles des traités, conventions ou accords régulièrement ratifiés ou approuvés et publiés, et notamment des traités instituant les communautés européennes ainsi que de celles des actes des autorités de ces communautés pris pour l’application de ces traités.
