Article L572-2 of the French Code governing the entry and residence of foreign nationals and the right of asylum

The transfer decision may not be enforced automatically until fifteen days have elapsed. However, this period is reduced to forty-eight hours in cases where a decision to place the foreign national under house arrest pursuant to article L. 751-2 or in detention pursuant to article L. 751-9 has been notified with the transfer decision or where the foreign national is already subject to such measures pursuant to articles L. 731-1, L. 741-1, L. 741-2, L. 751-2 or L. 751-9.
When an appeal has been lodged with the administrative court against the transfer decision, the latter may not be enforced automatically before a ruling has been given on this appeal.

Article L572-2

La décision de transfert ne peut faire l’objet d’une exécution d’office avant l’expiration d’un délai de quinze jours. Toutefois, ce délai est ramené à quarante-huit heures dans les cas où une décision d’assignation à résidence en application de l’article L. 751-2 ou de placement en rétention en application de l’article L. 751-9 a été notifiée avec la décision de transfert ou que l’étranger fait déjà l’objet de telles mesures en application des articles L. 731-1, L. 741-1, L. 741-2, L. 751-2 ou L. 751-9.
Lorsque le tribunal administratif a été saisi d’un recours contre la décision de transfert, celle-ci ne peut faire l’objet d’une exécution d’office avant qu’il ait été statué sur ce recours.
