Article L611-5 of the French Intellectual Property Code

Certificates of addition applied for prior to the entry into force of Law No. 90-1052 of 26 November 1990 on industrial property shall remain subject to the rules applicable on the date of their application.

However, the exercise of the resulting rights shall be governed by the provisions of this Book.

Les certificats d’addition demandés antérieurement à l’entrée en vigueur de la loi n° 90-1052 du 26 novembre 1990 relative à la propriété industrielle restent soumis aux règles applicables à la date de leur demande.

Toutefois, l’exercice des droits en résultant est régi par les dispositions du présent livre.
