Article L614-25 of the French Intellectual Property Code

French nationals may claim the application for their benefit, in France, of the provisions of the International Convention for the Protection of Industrial Property, signed at Paris on 20 March 1883, and of the arrangements, additional acts and closing protocols which have modified or will modify the said Convention, in all cases where such provisions are more favourable than French law for the protection of rights deriving from industrial property.

No provision of this Title may be interpreted as taking away from the French any right granted to them in the preceding paragraph.

Les Français peuvent revendiquer l’application à leur profit, en France, des dispositions de la convention internationale pour la protection de la propriété industrielle, signée à Paris, le 20 mars 1883, ainsi que des arrangements, actes additionnels et protocoles de clôture qui ont modifié ou modifieront ladite convention, dans tous les cas où ces dispositions sont plus favorables que la loi française pour protéger les droits dérivant de la propriété industrielle.

Aucune disposition du présent titre ne peut être interprétée comme retirant aux Français un droit qui leur est reconnu à l’alinéa précédent.
