The Chambers of Commerce and Industry, the Chambers of Trades and Crafts and the Chambers of Agriculture exercise their powers in respect of apprenticeships within the framework of this Book. They participate in initial or continuing vocational training, in particular through the public and private educational establishments that they create, manage or finance.
They contribute to the development of apprenticeships by carrying out the following tasks:
1° Assisting companies that so wish, in particular with the preparation of apprenticeship contracts, prior to their submission under the conditions set out in article L. 6224-1. To this end, the consular chambers may be instructed by the skills operators to participate in the task defined in the same article L. 6224-1;
2° To provide mediation as defined in article L. 6222-39 ;
3° To participate in the training of apprenticeship masters. In this context, they may enter into partnership agreements with skills operators;
4° Participating in the regional public guidance service in accordance with article L. 6111-3;
5° To participate in the regional governance of apprenticeships in accordance witharticle L. 214-13 of the Education Code.
