Article L624-2 of the French Commercial code

In the light of the proposals of the mandataire judiciaire, the juge-commissaire, if the application for admission is admissible, decides on the admission or rejection of the claims or notes either that proceedings are in progress or that the dispute does not fall within his jurisdiction. In the absence of a serious dispute, the official receiver also has jurisdiction, within the limits of the material jurisdiction of the court that appointed him, to rule on any plea opposed to the application for admission.

Article L624-2
