Article L6323-24 of the French Labour Code

The account may be used by jobseekers looking for work in a European Union Member State other than France if they are not registered with the institution mentioned in article L. 5312-1, subject to the conclusion of an agreement between this institution and the body responsible for the public employment service in the country in which they are looking for work. This agreement sets out the conditions under which the training used by the jobseeker as part of his or her account will be paid for.

Le compte peut être mobilisé par son titulaire à la recherche d’emploi dans un Etat membre de l’Union européenne autre que la France s’il n’est pas inscrit auprès de l’institution mentionnée à l’article L. 5312-1, sous réserve de la conclusion d’une convention entre cette institution et l’organisme chargé du service public de l’emploi dans le pays de la recherche d’emploi. Cette convention détermine les conditions de prise en charge des formations mobilisées par le demandeur d’emploi dans le cadre de son compte.
