Article L711-19 of the French Commercial code

Territorial chambers of commerce and industry and regional chambers of commerce and industry shall define their relationship with the consular higher education establishments they have set up, either jointly or separately, by agreement. The articles L. 225-40 and L. 225-88 do not apply to the agreement. A Conseil d’Etat decree specifies the stipulations that must be included in the agreement.

Territorial chambers of commerce and industry and regional chambers of commerce and industry retain free use of the distinctive signs used by consular higher education establishments or which are transferred to them.

Les chambres de commerce et d’industrie territoriales et les chambres de commerce et d’industrie de région définissent par convention leurs relations avec les établissements d’enseignement supérieur consulaire qu’elles ont constitués, ensemble ou séparément. Les articles L. 225-40 et L. 225-88 ne sont pas applicables à la convention. Un décret en Conseil d’Etat précise les stipulations que doit comporter la convention.


Les chambres de commerce et d’industrie territoriales et les chambres de commerce et d’industrie de région conservent la disposition à titre gratuit des signes distinctifs utilisés par les établissements d’enseignement supérieur consulaire ou qui leur sont cédés.
