Article L731-1 of the French Monetary and Financial Code

For the application of the first paragraph of Article L. 131-85 in Saint-Barthélemy, Saint-Martin and Saint-Pierre-et-Miquelon, the Banque de France shall receive from the Institut d’émission des départements d’outre-mer the information it holds, pursuant to Articles L. 721-14 and L. 721-24, enabling it to identify all accounts opened by the natural or legal persons mentioned in Article L. 131-72 and the second paragraph of Article L. 163-6, on which cheques may be drawn.

Pour l’application du premier alinéa de l’article L. 131-85 à Saint-Barthélemy, à Saint-Martin, et à Saint-Pierre-et-Miquelon, la Banque de France reçoit de l’Institut d’émission des départements d’outre-mer les informations qu’il détient, en application des articles L. 721-14 et L. 721-24, permettant d’identifier l’ensemble des comptes ouverts par les personnes physiques ou morales mentionnées à l’article L. 131-72 et au deuxième alinéa de l’article L. 163-6, sur lesquels peuvent être tirés des chèques.
