Article L732-3 of the French Commercial code

The mixed commercial courts are courts of first instance composed of the president of the judicial court, president, elected judges, subject to the provisions of Article L. 732-7, and a court clerk. Judges are elected under the conditions set out in articles L. 723-1 to L. 723-13.

The registry of the mixed commercial courts, the list of which is set by decree in the Conseil d’Etat, is provided by a commercial court registrar.

Les tribunaux mixtes de commerce sont des juridictions du premier degré composées du président du tribunal judiciaire, président, de juges élus, sous réserve des dispositions de l’article L. 732-7, et d’un greffier. Les juges sont élus dans les conditions fixées aux articles L. 723-1 à L. 723-13.

Le greffe des tribunaux mixtes de commerce, dont la liste est fixée par décret en Conseil d’Etat, est assuré par un greffier de tribunal de commerce.
