Article L734-4 of the French Monetary and Financial Code

I.- Are applicable in the Wallis and Futuna Islands, subject to the adaptation provisions provided for in II and III, the provisions of the articles mentioned in the left-hand column of the table below, in the wording indicated in the right-hand column of the same table:

II – For the application of I, after the words “the Banque de France”, the following words are added: “, and the Institut d’émission d’outre-mer,”
III – For the application of the articles mentioned in the table above: For the application of the articles mentioned in the table above:
1° In article L. 141-5-1:
a) In the first sentence, the word “veille” is replaced by the word “veillent”;
b) In the second sentence, the words: “Elle contribue” are replaced by the words: “Ils contribuent”;
2° In article L. 141-6-1:
a) The words: “the Banque de France is aware, in the performance of its duties”, and “it alerts” are replaced by the words: “the Banque de France and the Institut d’émission d’outre-mer are aware, in the performance of their duties” and “they alert”;
b) The words: “defined in Article L. 613-20-5” are deleted;
c) The words “and, where applicable, the relevant competent authorities within the meaning of Article 4(1)(40) of Regulation (EU) No 575/2013 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 26 June 2013, as well as the European Banking Authority” are deleted.

Article L734-4

I.-Sont applicables dans les îles Wallis et Futuna, sous réserve des dispositions d’adaptation prévues au II et au III, les dispositions des articles mentionnés dans la colonne de gauche du tableau ci-après, dans leur rédaction indiquée dans la colonne de droite du même tableau :

III.-Pour l’application des articles mentionnés dans le tableau ci-dessus :
1° A l’article L. 141-5-1 :
a) A la première phrase, le mot : « veille » est remplacé par le mot : « veillent » ;
b) A la seconde phrase, les mots : « Elle contribue » sont remplacés par les mots : « Ils contribuent » ;
2° A l’article L. 141-6-1 :
a) Les mots : « la Banque de France a connaissance, dans l’exercice de ses missions », et « elle alerte » sont remplacés par les mots : « la Banque de France et l’Institut d’émission d’outre-mer ont connaissance, dans l’exercice de leurs missions » et « ils alertent » ;
b) Les mots : « définie à l’article L. 613-20-5 » sont supprimés ;
c) Les mots : « et, le cas échéant, les autorités compétentes concernées au sens du 40 du paragraphe 1 de l’article 4 du règlement (UE) n° 575/2013 du Parlement européen et du Conseil du 26 juin 2013, ainsi que l’Autorité bancaire européenne » sont supprimés.
