Article L752-19 of the French Commercial code

The mayor of the commune in which the site is located, who is a member of the departmental commission whose decision or opinion is the subject of the appeal, is heard by the national commission at his request.

At his request, the departmental commercial development commission whose decision or opinion is the subject of the appeal appoints, from among its members, a member who sets out the commission’s position prior to the decision of the national commercial development commission.

A Government commissioner appointed by the minister responsible for trade attends the commission’s meetings.

Le maire de la commune d’implantation membre de la commission départementale dont la décision ou l’avis fait l’objet du recours est entendu à sa demande par la commission nationale.

A sa demande, la commission départementale d’aménagement commercial dont la décision ou l’avis fait l’objet du recours désigne, en son sein, un membre qui expose la position de la commission préalablement à la décision de la Commission nationale d’aménagement commercial.

Un commissaire du Gouvernement nommé par le ministre chargé du commerce assiste aux séances de la commission.
