I.- Pursuant to 8° of Article 6-2 of Organic Law no. 99-209 of 19 March 1999, subject to the provisions of II, III and IV, Articles L. 562-1 to L. 562-15 are automatically applicable in New Caledonia.
II – For the application of I, in article L. 562-8, references toarticle L. 330-1 of the Highway Code are replaced by locally applicable provisions having the same effect.
III.For the application of the articles mentioned in the table above:
1° In article L. 562-3-1, the words: “, or, if it occurs before the end of this period, until the entry into force of the European implementing regulation making the designations mentioned in the first paragraph applicable” are deleted;
2° In a and b of 2° of article L. 562-4, the words: “or any other form of freedom of establishment and under the freedom to provide services” are deleted;
3° In Article L. 562-4-1, references to European regulations on restrictive measures adopted pursuant to Articles 75 or 215 of the Treaty on the Functioning of the European Union are replaced by references to Article L. 712-10 and the words: “abroad or any other form of free establishment” are deleted;
4° In Articles L. 562-8 and L. 562-11, references to acts adopted pursuant to Article 29 of the Treaty on European Union or Article 75 of the Treaty on the Functioning of the European Union are replaced by references to Article L. 712-10;
5° A l’article L. 562-12, les références aux actes pris en application des articles 75 ou 215 du Traité sur le fonctionnement de l’Union européenne sont remplacées par les références à l’article L. 712-10 et la référence à l’article L. 459 du code des douanes est remplacée par la référence aux dispositions équivalentes applicables localement.
IV – The provisions of Chapter II of Title VI of Book V relating to the freezing of assets and the prohibition on making assets available are applicable to the Office des Postes et Télécommunications.
