Article L8113-11 of the French Labour Code

Labour inspectors are prohibited from disclosing manufacturing secrets and operating processes of which they may become aware in the course of their duties.

Failure to comply with these prohibitions is punishable in accordance witharticle 226-13 of the French Criminal Code.

Il est interdit aux contrôleurs du travail de révéler les secrets de fabrication et les procédés d’exploitation dont ils pourraient prendre connaissance dans l’exercice de leurs fonctions.

La méconnaissance de ces interdictions est punie conformément à l’article 226-13 du code pénal.
