Article L8114-6 of the French Labour Code

Once accepted by the offender, the proposed settlement is submitted to the public prosecutor for approval.

The act by which the Public Prosecutor approves the proposed settlement interrupts the limitation period for prosecution.

The public prosecution is extinguished when the offender has fulfilled all the obligations resulting from acceptance of the settlement within the time limit set.

Lorsqu’elle a été acceptée par l’auteur de l’infraction, la proposition de transaction est soumise à l’homologation du procureur de la République.

L’acte par lequel le procureur de la République homologue la proposition de transaction est interruptif de la prescription de l’action publique.

L’action publique est éteinte lorsque l’auteur de l’infraction a exécuté dans les délais impartis l’intégralité des obligations résultant pour lui de l’acceptation de la transaction.
