Article L8271-1-2 of the French Labour Code

The competent control officers pursuant to Article L. 8271-1 are :

1° The labour inspection officers mentioned in Article L. 8112-1;

2° Officers and agents of the judicial police ;

3° Tax and customs officers;

4° Officials of social security bodies and agricultural social security funds who have been approved for this purpose and are sworn ;

5° Administrators of maritime affairs, officers of the technical and administrative corps of maritime affairs and civil servants assigned to departments carrying out control missions in the field of maritime affairs under the authority or at the disposal of the Minister for the Sea;

6° Civil servants from the civil aviation technical corps who have been commissioned for this purpose and sworn in;

7° State officials or agents responsible for land transport control;

8° Agents of the institution mentioned in Article L. 5312-1, responsible for fraud prevention, authorised and sworn for this purpose;

9° Agents of the Conseil national des activités privées de sécurité, commissioned by its director and sworn in.

Article L8271-1-2

Les agents de contrôle compétents en application de l’article L. 8271-1 sont :

1° Les agents de contrôle de l’inspection du travail mentionnés à l’article L. 8112-1 ;

2° Les officiers et agents de police judiciaire ;

3° Les agents des impôts et des douanes ;

4° Les agents des organismes de sécurité sociale et des caisses de mutualité sociale agricole agréés à cet effet et assermentés ;

5° Les administrateurs des affaires maritimes, les officiers du corps technique et administratif des affaires maritimes et les fonctionnaires affectés dans les services exerçant des missions de contrôle dans le domaine des affaires maritimes sous l’autorité ou à la disposition du ministre chargé de la mer ;

6° Les fonctionnaires des corps techniques de l’aviation civile commissionnés à cet effet et assermentés ;

7° Les fonctionnaires ou agents de l’Etat chargés du contrôle des transports terrestres ;

8° Les agents de l’institution mentionnée à l’article L. 5312-1, chargés de la prévention des fraudes, agréés et assermentés à cet effet ;

9° Les agents du Conseil national des activités privées de sécurité commissionnés par son directeur et assermentés.
