Article LO6351-2 of the French General Code of Local Authorities

The Territorial Council shall lay down the rules applicable to Saint-Martin in the matters listed in Article LO 6314-3.

The deliberations by which the Territorial Council adopts the rules mentioned in the first paragraph are adopted by public ballot by an absolute majority of the members of the Territorial Council.

Le conseil territorial fixe les règles applicables à Saint-Martin dans les matières énumérées à l’article LO 6314-3.

Les délibérations par lesquelles le conseil territorial adopte les règles mentionnées au premier alinéa sont adoptées au scrutin public à la majorité absolue des membres du conseil territorial.
