Article R1125-16 of the French Public Health Code

When an unmarried couple or woman undergoing medically assisted procreation is asked to take part in research involving the human person carried out in the context of medically assisted procreation, the provision of information and the obtaining of consent are required, pursuant to articles L. 1122-1, L. 1122-1-1 and L. 2141-2 for each of the persons asked to take part.

Lorsqu’un couple ou une femme non mariée recourant à l’assistance médicale à la procréation est sollicité pour participer à une recherche impliquant la personne humaine menée dans le cadre de cette assistance médicale à la procréation, la délivrance de l’information et le recueil de consentement sont requis, en application des articles L. 1122-1, L. 1122-1-1 et L. 2141-2 pour chacune des personnes sollicitées.
