Article R1125-23 of the French Public Health Code

The sponsor reports every six months to the Data Protection Committee, in the form of a list accompanied by a summary, any suspected serious unexpected adverse reactions and serious incidents that have occurred in other research that it is conducting in France, or that have occurred outside national territory.

The sponsor sends a copy of the six-monthly report mentioned in the previous paragraph to the Director General of the Agence nationale de sécurité du médicament et des produits de santé and, for information, to the Director General of the Agence de la biomédecine.

Once a year, the Committee for the Protection of Individuals receives the safety report referred to in Article R. 1123-53.

Le promoteur déclare semestriellement au comité de protection des personnes, sous forme d’une liste accompagnée d’une synthèse, les suspicions d’effets indésirables graves inattendus et les incidents graves survenus dans une autre recherche qu’il conduit en France, ou survenus hors du territoire national.

Le promoteur adresse au directeur général de l’Agence nationale de sécurité du médicament et des produits de santé et, pour information, au directeur général de l’Agence de la biomédecine, une copie de la déclaration semestrielle mentionnée à l’alinéa précédent.

Le comité de protection des personnes reçoit, une fois par an, le rapport de sécurité mentionné à l’article R. 1123-53.
