The National Council for the Assessment of Standards is convened by its chairman or one of the three vice-chairmen, who sets the agenda and sends it to the members at least seven days before the date of the meeting.
The convening notice may be sent by any means, including by fax or e-mail. The same applies to any papers or documents required to prepare for the meeting or drawn up following the meeting.
In cases where the time limit for examining a draft standard is reduced pursuant to VI of Article L. 1212-2, the national council may be convened up to twenty-four hours before the date of the meeting and the file provided for in the first paragraph of Article R. 1213-27 is sent to the members within the same timeframe.
