Article R122-17 of the French Intellectual Property Code

I. – Listed legal persons and establishments shall notify the Commission of any significant changes to the information they have provided in support of their application.

II. – Listed legal persons and establishments that receive adapted documents or make them available to a beneficiary person or other authorised entity established in any Member State of the European Union or party to the Marrakesh Treaty adopted on 27 June 2013, shall keep a register of such adaptations. They shall publish and update, on their websites or through various other online or offline channels, information on how they comply with the obligations set out in points a to c of I of Article 5 of Directive (EU) 2017/1564 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 13 September 2017 on certain authorised uses of certain works and other subject-matter protected by copyright and related rights for the benefit of the blind, the visually impaired and people with other print reading difficulties and amending Directive 2001/29/EC on the harmonisation of certain aspects of copyright and related rights in the information society.

Article R122-17

I. – Les personnes morales et les établissements inscrits sur la liste communiquent à la commission toute modification significative concernant les renseignements qu’ils ont fournis à l’appui de leur demande.

II. – Les personnes morales et les établissements inscrits sur la liste et qui reçoivent des documents adaptés ou en mettent à disposition d’une personne bénéficiaire ou d’une autre entité autorisée établie dans n’importe quel Etat membre de l’Union européenne ou partie au traité de Marrakech adopté le 27 juin 2013, tiennent un registre de ces adaptations. Ils publient et actualisent, sur leurs sites internet ou par divers autres canaux en ligne ou hors ligne, des informations sur la façon dont ils respectent les obligations prévues aux points a à c du I de l’article 5 de la directive (UE) 2017/1564 du Parlement européen et du Conseil du 13 septembre 2017 sur certaines utilisations autorisées de certaines œuvres et d’autres objets protégés par le droit d’auteur et les droits voisins en faveur des aveugles, des déficients visuels et des personnes ayant d’autres difficultés de lecture des textes imprimés et modifiant la directive 2001/29/CE sur l’harmonisation de certains aspects du droit d’auteur et des droits voisins dans la société de l’information.
