Only doctors and nurses may collect labile blood products by apheresis or for scheduled autologous transfusion.

Medical students who have completed the second year of the second cycle of medical studies and who have undergone training provided by the Etablissement Français du Sang to carry out blood sampling may also carry out the function of sampling with a view to a programmed autologous transfusion.

Seuls les médecins, les infirmiers et infirmières peuvent exercer la fonction de prélèvement de produits sanguins labiles par aphérèse ou de prélèvement en vue d’une transfusion autologue programmée.

Les étudiants en médecine ayant validé la deuxième année du deuxième cycle des études médicales et ayant suivi une formation dispensée par l’Etablissement français du sang pour effectuer des prélèvements sanguins peuvent également exercer la fonction de prélèvement en vue d’une transfusion autologue programmée.
