The body reception facility organises the conditions of use of the body for medical teaching and research purposes. These activities are part of the training or research programmes and projects determined by the authorised establishment and, where applicable, the associated establishment in application of article R. 1261-11, the partner public establishments in application of II of article R. 1261-19, or in training or research projects presented by external entities.
Training programmes involving the use of donated bodies for the purposes of medical education and research exclusively concern the training of members of the medical professions, staff who work in operating theatres under the supervision of the former, and people who intend to practise these professions.
The participation of an entity outside the authorised establishment, and of its staff, in the implementation of training projects or research projects may only concern a highly technical medical training activity in surgical matters or involving the use of specialised innovations, or a research project for which access to bodies is authorised under the conditions set out in articles R. 1261-16 and R. 1261-17.
