Article R131-4 of the French Code governing the entry and residence of foreign nationals and the right of asylum

The non-permanent members of the panels of the National Court of Asylum are appointed for a renewable period of three years.
For the determination of the order of the table of the members of the corps of administrative magistrates assigned to the court, only the date of appointment in the grade is taken into consideration. In the event of appointment on the same date, precedence is given to the eldest.

Les membres non permanents des formations de jugement de la Cour nationale du droit d’asile sont nommés pour une période de trois ans, renouvelable.
Pour la détermination de l’ordre du tableau des membres du corps des magistrats administratifs affectés à la cour, seule est prise en considération la date de nomination dans le grade. En cas de nomination à la même date, la préséance revient au plus âgé.
