Article R1313-28 of the French Public Health Code

The Ethics and Conflicts of Interest Committee has between five and eight members. These members are appointed for a period of five years by order of the ministers responsible on the recommendation of the Board of Directors from among persons recognised for their knowledge and skills in the field of ethics. In the event of a vacancy, they are replaced under the same conditions for the remainder of the term of office of the person they are replacing.

The duties of a member of the Committee are incompatible with membership of any other body of the Agency and with any contractual relationship with it, and are subject to all the ethical obligations applicable to the Agency.

Le comité de déontologie et de prévention des conflits d’intérêts est composé de cinq à huit membres. Ces membres sont nommés pour une durée de cinq ans par arrêté des ministres chargés de la tutelle sur proposition du conseil d’administration parmi des personnalités reconnues pour leurs connaissances et compétences en matière de déontologie. En cas de vacance, ils sont remplacés dans les mêmes conditions pour la durée restant à courir du mandat de la personne qu’ils remplacent.

Les fonctions de membre du comité sont incompatibles avec l’appartenance à une autre instance de l’agence, avec toute relation contractuelle avec elle, et sont soumises à la totalité des obligations déontologiques applicables à l’agence.
