Article R1313-7 of the French Public Health Code

In the event of a vacancy arising from the permanent inability of the incumbent to perform his duties or the loss by a member of the capacity in which he was appointed, a new member shall be appointed in accordance with the conditions laid down in Article R. 1313-5 or the Chairman shall be appointed in accordance with the conditions laid down in Article L. 1313-4. The term of office of this member or of the Chairman thus appointed expires at the same time as that of the other members of the Board of Directors. In the same circumstances, the staff representatives are replaced under the conditions laid down in the internal regulations.

Article R1313-7

En cas de vacance d’un siège du fait de l’empêchement définitif de son titulaire ou de la perte par un membre de la qualité au titre de laquelle il a été désigné, il est procédé à la désignation d’un nouveau membre dans les conditions prévues à l’article R. 1313-5 ou du président, dans les conditions prévues à l’article L. 1313-4. Le mandat de ce membre ou du président ainsi nommé expire en même temps que celui des autres membres du conseil d’administration. Dans ces mêmes circonstances, les représentants du personnel sont remplacés dans les conditions prévues par le règlement intérieur.
