Article R1331-53 of the French Public Health Code

The planting of plant species whose proliferation is likely to have negative effects on health, in particular those listed inarticle D. 1338-1, is prohibited.

Gardens and areas surrounding residential premises must be maintained in such a way as not to allow the proliferation of animals that are harmful to human health.

La plantation d’espèces végétales dont la prolifération est susceptible d’emporter des effets négatifs sur la santé, notamment celles dont la liste est fixée par l’article D. 1338-1, est interdite.

Les jardins et les abords des locaux d’habitation sont entretenus de manière à ne pas laisser proliférer les animaux causes de nuisances pour la santé humaine.
