Article R1333-137 of the French Public Health Code

The person responsible for the nuclear activity must make a new declaration or submit a new application for registration or authorisation to the Nuclear Safety Authority before implementing the activity, in accordance with the conditions laid down in sub-sections 2, 3, 4 or 5 of this section, as appropriate:

1° Any change in the declarant or the holder of the registration or authorisation ;

2° Any change in the information contained in the declaration or in the registration or authorisation application file that affects the interests referred to in Article L. 1333-7;

3° Any extension of the area covered by the initial declaration, registration or authorisation;

4° Any change in the characteristics of an ionising radiation source held, used or distributed;

5° Any change in source category leading to a change in protection measures against malicious acts.

Font l’objet d’une nouvelle déclaration, d’une nouvelle demande d’enregistrement ou d’autorisation par le responsable de l’activité nucléaire, préalablement à leur mise en œuvre, auprès de l’Autorité de sûreté nucléaire dans les conditions prévues, selon le cas, aux sous-sections 2, 3, 4 ou 5 de la présente section :

1° Toute modification du déclarant ou du titulaire de l’enregistrement ou de l’autorisation ;

2° Toute modification des éléments de la déclaration ou du dossier de demande d’enregistrement ou d’autorisation ayant des conséquences sur les intérêts mentionnés à l’article L. 1333-7 ;

3° Toute extension du domaine couvert par la déclaration, l’enregistrement ou l’autorisation initiale ;

4° Toute modification des caractéristiques d’une source de rayonnements ionisants détenue, utilisée ou distribuée ;

5° Tout changement de catégorie de sources amenant à une modification des mesures de protection contre les actes de malveillance.
