In carrying out its expert appraisal mission, the Agency is assisted, on the one hand, by a Medical and Scientific Committee, the chairman and members of which are appointed by the Director General of the Agency after obtaining the opinion of the Steering Committee and, on the other hand, by groups of experts appointed by the Director General, who determines the scope and duration of their mission.

The operating procedures of this committee and these groups are determined according to the same procedures as the Agency’s internal regulations and after obtaining the opinion of the Policy Board.

Pour l’accomplissement de sa mission d’expertise, l’agence est assistée, d’une part, par un comité médical et scientifique, dont le président et les membres sont nommés par le directeur général de l’agence après avis du conseil d’orientation et, d’autre part, par des groupes d’experts nommés par le directeur général qui détermine l’étendue et la durée de leur mission.

Les modalités de fonctionnement de ce comité et de ces groupes sont déterminées selon les mêmes modalités que le règlement intérieur de l’agence et après avis du conseil d’orientation.
