Article R1435-13 of the French Public Health Code

A member of staff may only be appointed as an inspector if he/she meets one of the following conditions:

1° Holds a bachelor’s degree or a diploma or qualification classified at least at level II;

2° Belongs to the corps of care directors in the hospital civil service or to that of social affairs administration attachés or to that of social service technical advisors in State administrations or to the interministerial corps of State nurses.

Un agent ne peut être désigné en qualité d’inspecteur que s’il remplit l’une des conditions suivantes :


1° Etre titulaire d’une licence ou d’un diplôme ou titre classé au moins au niveau II ;


2° Appartenir au corps des directeurs des soins de la fonction publique hospitalière ou à celui des attachés d’administration des affaires sociales ou à celui des conseillers techniques de service social des administrations de l’Etat ou au corps interministériel des infirmières et infirmiers de l’Etat.
