Article R1435-9-3 of the French Public Health Code

The doctor practising as a replacement or the student fulfilling the conditions laid down in article L. 4131-2 undertakes, for the duration of the contract, to carry out a replacement activity in one or more medical practices located in the areas defined in article R. 1435-9-1. If, during the term of the contract, he decides to set up a private practice or to work there as a private practice collaborator, the replacement doctor or the student who has signed the contract may request that the benefit of the contract be maintained until it expires. In this case, they may be eligible for the aid provided for in the contract in proportion to the time remaining. In this case, an amendment to the contract is concluded.

Article R1435-9-3

Le médecin exerçant en tant que remplaçant ou l’étudiant remplissant les conditions prévues à l’article L. 4131-2 s’engage pendant la durée du contrat à exercer une activité de remplacement dans un ou plusieurs cabinets médicaux implantés dans les zones définies à l’article R. 1435-9-1. Si, pendant la durée du contrat, il décide de s’y installer en cabinet libéral ou d’y exercer en tant que collaborateur libéral, le médecin remplaçant ou l’étudiant signataire du contrat peut demander le maintien du bénéfice du contrat jusqu’à son échéance. Il peut alors bénéficier des aides prévues auxquelles il est éligible au prorata du temps restant. Dans ce cas, un avenant au contrat est conclu.
